Casualty Evacuation Vehicle

Summary: Buying and exporting a Mitsubishi Pajero as casualty evacuation vehicle for frontline medic teams

Date: December 2025

In Ukraine’s warzone, ambulances can’t navigate rough terrain, and aeromedical evacuations are impossible due to dense enemy anti-air defenses. Armored personnel carriers (APCs) aren’t a viable solution either—the demand far exceeds both production capacity and funding.

That’s why off-road medical evacuation vehicles are essential. By supporting this project, you’ll help us:

  1. Procure an off-road vehicle

  2. Upgrade it for battlefield conditions (mud-terrain tires, reinforced bumpers, armored glass, etc.)

  3. Convert it into a medical transport with a redesigned interior and essential medical equipment

Your support ensures wounded soldiers get life-saving care—fast.

Below you see pictures of the car being transported to Ukraine by our volunteers (picture 4). And pictures of Mykola, medic of the Artillery Division, driving the casevac directly into action. The photos are taken before the memorial for the battles for the city of Sumy, where the unit currently operates.

After a brief repair stop, the car had to be delivered to the frontline immediately. For a more thorough re-equipment there is no time yet, because the situation with casevacs within the unit is so critical due to drone strikes. Once they get the chance to equip the vehicle more comfortably for medical evacuation, our partners and us are going to assist them accordingly.
